Digibus health and safety

Our priority is keeping our staff, volunteers, visitors and learners safe.

We have a number of health and safety measures to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers, visitors and learners while aboard the DigiBus. These include:
  • Asking anyone who feels unwell to stay at home and not to attend the DigiBus.
  • Asking all learners and visitors follow government requirements with regards to wearing face coverings aboard the bus (we understand that some people are exempt for health or other reasons).
  • Limiting the number of people aboard at any one time so that we can maintain social distancing rules (subject to change in line with government guidelines).
  • There will be a sign by the bus entrance with the maximum number we can safely accommodate at that time. This may mean that learners who arrive early for their session or workshop may be required to wait outside.
  • Asking learners and visitors to use the hand sanitiser positioned at the bus entrance.
  • Using back-to-back or side-to-side working (rather than face-to-face) whenever possible.
As part of our health and safety regime, we are implementing enhanced cleaning schedules to ensure all the learner and visitor touchpoints (such as handrails, workstations and equipment) are regularly cleaned with anti-bacterial sprays and wipes, and equipment is cleaned between each use.
